GECE (W)Mirpurkhas

Under the management of SZABIST ZAB-ed.

The Government Elementary College of Education (Women), Mirpurkhas, established in 1990, provides professional education and has a long history of producing successful educators who have gone on to hold prominent positions. It is currently under the management of SZABIST’s ZAB-ed initiative.

The college has been progressively upgraded in accordance with Higher Education Commission (HEC) policy, offering programs such as the Associate Degree in Education (ADE) and the B.Ed. (Hons), which replaced the previously offered PTC and CT certifications. In line with the Sindh government’s new recruitment policy, the ADE and B.Ed. (Hons) degrees are now required qualifications for newly appointed teachers.

G.E.C.E. (W), Mirpurkhas is now affiliated with Sindh University, Jamshoro. Many of its graduates are currently employed as teachers in government and private schools throughout Sindh.
