Spark

The Foundation Assisted Schools (FAS) Program, initiated by the Sindh Education Foundation (SEF), aims to provide free and quality education in underserved areas of Sindh. As an implementing partner, SZABIST ZAB-ed operates three SPARK schools in District Shaheed Benazirabad (Nawabshah) — Sakrand, Jam Sahab, and Daur — to ensure access to structured, inclusive, and nurturing learning opportunities. The program was launched to address the lack of quality schooling in rural and semi-urban communities, where children often face limited access, scarce resources, and poor learning outcomes. Through school establishment, teacher recruitment and training, structured academics, and active community engagement, SZABIST ZAB-ed is working to empower children with education that can transform both their futures and their communities.

The three SPARK schools under SZABIST ZAB-ed began operations in 2021 under the FAS Program and have been running successfully for the past 4 years. They are part of an ongoing partnership with SEF, it continues under SEF’s framework with periodic evaluations and renewals to ensure sustainability and long-term impact
