Benazir District Schools

The Benazir District Schools (BDS) in Shaheed Benazirabad are government schools established under the Sindh Education and Literacy Department (SELD) to provide free, inclusive, and quality education, especially in underserved rural areas. While publicly funded, their operations and academic management have been delegated to SZABIST ZAB-ed, ensuring modern teaching methods, trained staff, and improved accountability. This partnership was launched to address chronic challenges in Sindh’s public schools, such as poor infrastructure, weak governance, and low learning outcomes, by combining government ownership with professional management. Over the past decade, several campuses have been established:

  • ECED (Early Childhood Education & Development) School – Launched on 29th August 2015
  • BDS Nawabshah – Started in 2016
