Adult and Adolescent Learning and Training Program (AALTP)

The Adult and Adolescent Learning and Training Program (AALTP) is a flagship initiative of the Sindh Education Foundation (SEF) that equips out-of-school adolescents and adults with functional literacy, numeracy, and livelihood-oriented vocational skills. Implemented by SZABIST ZAB-ED since September 2024, the program addresses barriers caused by poverty, school dropouts, and lack of access to education by providing flexible, skills-focused learning opportunities. Through community mobilization, foundational literacy classes, market-relevant vocational training, and certification, AALTP empowers marginalized youth and adults to continue their education, pursue employment, or start self-employment ventures, creating pathways for personal growth and long-term community development.
